A GSM/GPRS/GPS device transmits in regular, freely configurable intervals or on call the current location of a vehicle to the IGISA MediaMap®Server. This device can be fitted into vehicles very simply. Any number of clients can obtain the positions and further information (vehicle moves or not, speed, status of charge and delivery, etc.) of our server. This information is shown in mmTracker-ControlStation on digital maps, where you also can analyse and manage these data.
Functionality Overview of all vehicles at any time Coordination and optimisation of the logistics and use of the fleet of vehicles and sales representatives Trackhistory: Analysis of distances covered, holding times, etc. Several parameters are visualised. Connection with external sensors which measure vehicle data (ignition status, liftgate, oil pressure, engine temperature, etc.) and transmit them to the server Alarm activation by various attributes: Movement at forbidden times Geo-Fencing: when leaving or entering defined geographical areas Exceeding or falling below defined speeds Interruption of the power supply Exceeding threshold values of external sensors
Theft: in this case the vehicle can be found easily Supervision and monitoring of the fleet activities

Advantages Service on ASP base (Application Service Providing) Less and more transparent costs by a monthly flat-rate. No need of expensive hardware (server technology) for the customer More flexibility - temporally and locally: access from every Internet-capable computer after installation and login Better service: the system is maintained by us and up to date at any time
Hardware GPRS technology makes cheap live-tracking possible, because the device is always online. Provision of a terminal in the vehicle (e.g. PDA) allows communication between drivers and the control centre and the exchange of text-messages (destination, customer data, orders, etc.). Data can be transmitted to an external routing-system (e.g. TomTom). See also >>> Solutions for Field Service.
Saving potentials by More internal transparency Higher efficiency of order processing and order control Increase of economic efficiency and competitiveness of your company Higher customer satisfaction due to short reaction time and flexibility Avoiding deadheads and holding times.
